Conservatory Of Echoes

Acoustic Profile

The glass was removed years ago, but the room still behaves as though it has a ceiling. Sound gathers here, folds once, and returns stripped down to harder shapes.

  • Voices recorded at dawn loop three beats late after sunset.
  • Birdsong persists without birds, but only in the west alcove.
  • Several visitors heard a number before they heard a word.
  • No two transcripts agree on punctuation, which suggests punctuation matters.

Greenhouse Protocol

Audio staff left a side channel for raw captures. It was never linked publicly because legal insisted the room did not technically produce speech. That side channel still exists in the garden systems.
