Atrium Of Clocks

Incident Summary

Forty-two clocks remain mounted across the atrium. None of them agree. The staff eventually stopped resetting them and started filing repair slips that listed failure modes instead.

Case 08 / Bell Tower Clock

Hands rotate backward between 01:13 and 01:12. Service note says the issue is not mechanical.

Case 14 / Brass Hall Clock

Minute hand advances only when spoken to. Two technicians logged the same voice print.

Case 21 / Dining Clock

Correct twice daily, wrong in every useful way. Repair status marked defer until structure stabilizes.

Public Puzzle

The obvious method is to compare the displayed times. This wastes hours. The atrium protects truth in the margins: ticket numbers, fault symbols, and the order the staff stopped pretending a fix was coming.

CLOCK A / NOT FAST
CLOCK B / NOT SLOW
CLOCK C / NOT STILL
CLOCK D / NOT FIXED

The repair office sealed the meaningful records in a service page that the public map omits: ../service/maintenance.html
